Position: Low Voltage Electronics Technician

Job Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot Video Management Systems (VMS) and Physical Access Control Systems (PACS).
- Set up and manage network configurations, including IP subnetting and device connectivity.
- Perform Windows system configurations and basic troubleshooting.
- Work with IT and networking teams to ensure seamless integration of security systems.
- Conduct site surveys, run cables, terminate connections, and mount security equipment
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support to clients.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Document installation procedures and service reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic IT and networking knowledge (IP subnetting, network troubleshooting, and basic Windows configuration).
- Experience with Video Management Systems (e.g., ExacqVision, Milestone, FLIR, Genetec, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Physical Access Control Systems (e.g., Brivo, Genetec, Lenel, HID, AMAG, etc.).
- Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting CCTV, security cameras, and access control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment, work on ladders, and operate hand tools.s.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Associate’s Degree (required)
- Experience:
- Must have Electronics Experience
- 3+ years of experience in low voltage systems (required)
- 3+ years of experience with computer systems (preferred)
- Language: English (required)
- Location: Must be able to commute or relocate to Queens, NY (required)
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, rotating 8-hour shifts
